Book Blogger Hop & Follow Friday!

Book Blogger Hop is a fun meme hosted by Crazy For Books. Enter your link and go hop around other blogs that are out there, ready to be discovered!

I guess this week was both good and bad. I had to take a test and I did well but I also didn't have late start so I didn't get to sleep. I've also had to put aside reading for the past few days because of homework.

Why do you read the genre that you do? What draws you to it?

I read young adult books because I like being able to understand some of the things the characters go through. Some of the things are things that can happen in life.

I especially like reading fantasy because the author creates a whole new world but at the same time it can seem like the world we live in.

To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
  1. Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Host { Parajunkee.com } and any one else you want to follow on the list.
  2. Follow our Featured Bloggers
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments
  5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can
What makes up your non-human family??

I actually don't have a non-human family! I used to have a turtle but it died. My parents don't trust me to take care of any other animal!

While you're here make sure to enter my giveaway to win The Princess of Las Pulgas by C. Lee McKenzie!

  1. Just stopped by to say hi Diana. I'm already a follower.

I love YA fiction too. I actually need to force myself to read more fiction for adults (I am an adult services librarian so I'm supposed to read more books for adults so I can suggest them to library patrons) but I'd rather read YA fiction any day.

I hope you'll get another pet some day. When I was a teen I had a parakeet and then later on a beta. I convinced my parents to get me the fish because it was part of a science fair project. I first tried to get a hamster or gerbil but my mom said it was too much like a mouse so I was able to talk them into letting me get the beta. :)

  2. Just hopping through... I too enjoy "living" in the worlds the YA authors create - it's easy to lose yourself and just enjoy!

I went all over the map with this question on my blog. I read and enjoy almost every genre of fiction out there. There’s no way I could just pick one.

So I talked about all of them. Even romance fiction (sort of)! I invite you to hop over to my blog at http://www.howardsherman.net and see for yourself.
